Jeremy Ward - Rockschool Examiner

MMus. GTCL. LTCL. LRSL. ARCM.

Jeremy Ward has been a Director of Rockschool for the past five years. In that time he has created the vocal syllabus and the new guitar, bass and drum syllabus which was released in September 2006. He is responsible for the new band based keyboard syllabus to be released in January 2009 and he has also created the successful teaching and performance diplomas released February 2008. The company has grown considerably both nationally and internationally, now operating in 18 countries outside of the United Kingdom.

Jeremy began playing the piano and drums at the age of four and half, and was successful in International competition, taking first prize on two occasions. His love of Rock and Pop was always present and he has been fortunate enough to work with Kylie Minogue, Madonna and Elton John in several of their concerts and recordings. He was also involved in the music to the film ‘Evita’. Jeremy continues to play in bands and record in his limited spare time.

Recent publications have included keyboard repertoire books and guitar, bass, drums and vocal books for Music Sales. He is in the process of writing a ‘how to play keyboard’ for Faber due for release in 2009.
