Music Director/Conductor The Magnificats Chamber Choir is a successful community-based auditioned SATB choir with around 16 members. The group is essentially a group of friends who enjoy singing together a very wide and varied repertoire from Madrigals to works by Andrew Lloyd Webber, from Palestrina to John Rutter. We are looking to appoint a Conductor/Musical Director to lead the choir and develop it from the high standards already achieved, with effect from May 2010. The Conductor/Musical Director will be expected to oversee all the musical aspects of the choir including choosing music for the performances. The choir normally gives well-attended Christmas and other concerts each year. The choir meets each Wednesday evening from 19.45 until 21.45 throughout the year, except for the summer school holidays.
