2009 Diplomas in Music Syllabus Out Now
The 2009 Diplomas in Music syllabus is now available and offer a revised, updated range of qualifications with a more user-friendly syllabus.
In the Performance and Teaching syllabus, repertoire lists have been expanded to include regularly chosen pieces which were not on the previous syllabus, making it easier for candidates to play the pieces of their choice. Procedures have been clarified and the structures of some qualifications has been simplified; for example, there now being 2 rather than 4 Units in the Teaching diplomas.
There is also a revised Written Diplomas syllabus, where similar updates have been made, including simplifying the structure of some qualifications and updating the material studied to include more 20th century genres such as film music.
